Final Round
Calgon GC hung on to make it a wire-to-wire win at the annual NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship.
Calgon GC, made up of teammates James Eldridge and William Weisberg, carded a final round 6-under 65 to finish the two-day event at 18-under 124. The key for Calgon GC, which is named that way due to the two having friends in both California and Oregon, was a first round 59.
Second place was a tie between Dry Creek Men's Club (Robert Benson and Scott Pierson) and Richmond CC (Savy Ly and Vic Campbell) at 126. Dry Creek placed second after a card-off (lower round of the day, 60).
First played in 1999, the NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship is two-person, better-ball handicap event for all senior NCGA members.

Calgon GC took the lead in this week's NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship on Monday, posting a first round 12-under 59.
Teammates James Eldridge and William Weisberg, the two halves of Calgon GC, carded nine birdies and two eagles (par-5 9th and 18th holes) to go against a lone bogey.
Mission Hills Legends GC (Chris Lazik and Dan Boyer) are in second place at 60.
The event concludes Tuesday at Poppy Hills.
