Jacobus Brakkee's dominant performance over the weekend caps off his second top-five finish on the JTNC this season, previously placing 4th during the Fall Series IV Championship at Haggin Oaks back in September of 2023. Brakkee grabs his first winners medal of the 2023-2024 season thanks to back-to-back bogey-free rounds where he carded scores of 68-68, including six birdies! Brakkee's performance over the weekend is one of the most impressive stretches of golf we have seen on the Junior Tour this year, even if Jacobus' win was only by a shot over runner up Agustya Ganesh, the fact that no mistakes were made on the scorecard throughout the 36-hole event is soemthing every player dreams of. Brakkee is now listed at 17th on the Boys JTNC Player of the Year Rankings,  jumping up a handful of spots after conclusion of the Spring Series VI Championship.

Agustya Ganesh was only one shot off of the lead heading into Sunday's second round as he carded rounds of 69-68 to secure his runners-up medal at 5-under par.. Third place was a tight battle between two competitors, ultimately leading to Jack Sennott snatching up the final spot at the winner’s podium with a final round 69, beating Garrett Harrison via a card-off. Fourth place subsequently went to Harrison who shot rounds of 68-72 to finish at 2-under on the leaderboard, carding a total of 8 birdies!

In the Girls’ Championship, Asterisk Talley won her staggering 10th tournament of the 2023-2024 season, putting her 562 points ahead of the next closest player in the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings. In Saturday’s opener Talley shot a bogey-free round of 3-under 68 that included three birdies, leaving no room for errors. Asterisk would go on to produce quite a spectacle of a scorecard for round two where she posted a 4-under 67, accomplishing six birdies and one eagle on the day. Her 36-hole weekend was a spectacle to see for any golf fan, winning the competition by six shots over runner-up Tavia Burgess. Talley now sits tied at 29 on the JTNC Girls' all-time win's list, level with Sabrina Iqbal. Asterisk's journey to becoming the best player in JTNC Girls history seems inevitable at this point as it is only a matter of when, and not if, she will be atop the list by herself!

Second place was settled via a card-off between Erica Villegas, Lilly Peng and Tavia Burgess, with Burgess coming out victorious as she carded the lower second round score at 69 versus Villegas and Peng's scores of 71. Third place went to Erica Villegas after she won via a card-off versus Lily Peng,  Villegas gained the advantage over Peng by scoring a lower second round back-nine score of 34. Villegas finished at 1-under par 141 for the weekend. Fourth place was awarded to Lily Peng with rounds of 70-71, carding a total of nine birdies on the weekend.

In the Boys’ First Flight Championship, James Stewart came out victorious picking up his first winners medal of the 2023-2024 season winning by one shot over his competitors. Stewart needed to come in clutch during play of his final nine holes and he did just that, carding an even-par back 9 to cap off a confident round of 6-over 78. Stewart's bridie on the 15th hole proved to be vital in preserving his spot at the top of the leaderboard, as runner-ups Kashyap Rayamajhi and Alan Bunchien carded unwanted bogeys on their final nine holes.

Second place was awarded to Alan Bunchien after his final three holes of 1-over par were enough to see out Kashyap's total of 2-over par on his final three holes as the pair were subject to a card-off. Kashyap took third place at 7-over par 79, carding one birdie on the day.

Quilao defeated runner-up Irene Hur by two shots. Hur carded an 87 on her way to a second-place finish which was three shots better than her next closest competitor. Risa Mae Rodriguez would fall short of second place as she finished with a total of 90 during play of the single-day tournament.
