Greenhorn Creek GC took the title at the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.
The Greenhorn Creek squad, made up of teammates Austin Kane, Travis Dillashaw, Travis Ziehlke and Gary Arthur, shot a final round 14-under 118 to come in at 23-under 261 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Edgewood Tahoe GC placed second at 267 following a final round 135.
Both Greenhorn Creek GC and Edgewood Tahoe GC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 21-22 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.

The South Sierra Zone Championship can't get much closer, as both Edgewood GC and Greenhorn Creek GC finished day one tied at 10-under 132.
The event takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Edgewood GC is made up of teammates Nathan Fox, Wade Fikse, William Remsen and Jim Porter. Greenhorn Creek GC is comprised of Austin Kane, Travis Dillashaw, Gary Arthur and Travis Zielhke.
Tahoe City 2 is five shots back at 137. Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 21-22 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass HIll.
