Lakeridge Men's GC took the title at the annual NCGA North Sierra Zone Championship at Poppy Hills.
Lakeridge Men's GC, made up of teammates Warren Whitley, Blake Hinkel, Pete Lazzari and Bob Leighton, shot a final round 14-under 128 to come in at 27-under 257 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Finishing in second place at 261 was Plumas Pines GC.
Both Lakeridge Men's Club and Plumas Pines GC automatically qualified for this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 21-22 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.

Plumas Pines GC is the team to catch after day one of the annual NCGA North Sierra Zone Championship at Poppy Hills.
Pumas Pines, made up of teammates Brad Clark, Paul Jeglum, Donald Barnes and Rich Barnes, carded an opening 14-under 128 Monday at Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Lakeridge Men's Club is in second place at 129. Tahoe Donner GC is in third at 137.
Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 21-22 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.
