California High School of San Ramon and Janae Galo were the big winners at Wednesday's 16th Helen Lengfeld Tournament at El Macero CC in Davis.
Playing in the grueling heat, California High finished the day with a score of 66-over 426. The team is comprised of Madi Tjoe, Kate Shu, Raima Dalal, Samantha Atienza, Elsa Ryhne and Myra Singh.
Second place in the team portion went to Heritage High (Brentwood) at 433. Campolindo High took third at 442.
In the Individual portion of the event, Janae Galo of Heritage High won the title with a score of 1-under 71.
