NCGA

Kristen Mulenburg got it going at one of NorCal's greatest championship venues.

Mulenburg, who hails from Walnut Creek, shot a final round 3-over 75 on the Ocean Course at The Olympic Club to come in at 10-over 153 and win the annual WGANC Legacy Stroke Play Championship by three shots over runner-up Holly Bare.

Bare finished at 156 after her second straight round of 78. Bare won the title in 2018. Third place was a tie between Kim Belliveau and Tina Barker at 159 after final rounds of 81 and 77, respectively. Barker was awarded third place after a card-off (lower final round).

In October, Barker, who won the event in 2020, will be inducted into the NCGA Hall of Fame.

Lauren Gebauer, the event's two-time defending champion and the 2023-24 NCGA Women's Player of the Year, was not in the field.
