Silverado

From September 14 to 17, Silverado Resort, a luxury landmark resort in the heart of Napa Valley wine country, is once again hosting the Fortinet Championship, a full field event in the 2023-24 PGA TOUR season alongside Fortinet, an American cybersecurity company with a global footprint.

According to Todd Shallan, vice president and managing director of Silverado Resort, the resort is welcoming top golf professionals and avid golf fans to this prestigious PGA TOUR tournament for the 10th consecutive year. “We are always delighted to host this stellar annual tournament, where 156 of the world’s prominent golf icons will compete on our championship North Course,” said Shallan. In August, Silverado Resort was named Distinguished Golf Destination by BoardRoom Magazine in partnership with Forbes Travel Guide.

Spectators, Sponsors and Players Experience New Course Enhancements

The tournament will tee off on Silverado’s 72-par, 18-hole North Course, which initially opened in 1955. Later redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course was refreshed by PGA TOUR Hall-of-Famer and former Silverado Resort owner, Johnny Miller. To celebrate 10 years of Silverado Resort hosting this fan-favorite tournament, Fortinet Championship executive director Andy McDowell has announced some new additions for 2023. They include rerouting the course to make the final stretch of holes more accessible to pedestrians, highlighting signature par-3 down the stretch and providing room for growth in future years for additional activations, spectator seating and private hospitality offerings. Additionally, the main tournament entrance has a brand-new look and location near The Grove where fans will enter through oak trees with picturesque views of the Silverado Mansion, golf course, concert stage and new Fan Village. At the Fan Village, food options from local vendors will include Bouchon Bakery Cookies, Model Bakery English Muffins, Original Burger Dog, El Porteño Empanadas and The Chocolate Dippery.

Fortinet Championship Concert Series on Friday, September 15, and Saturday, September 16

Friday’s headliner is Grammy Award-winning duo Brothers Osborne, and special guest Judah & the Lion will also perform.
