The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced this year’s slate of offerings for on-site fans to experience the 78th U.S. Women’s Open. The championship will be contested July 6-9 at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links. 

“The U.S. Women’s Open offers the best golfers in the world an opportunity to achieve their dreams on the grandest stages in the game,” said Jon Podany, chief commercial officer of the USGA. “With the support of our tremendous partners, fans who are on-site at Pebble Beach will enjoy memorable and inspiring experiences that bring them closer to the action than ever before.” 
 
From July 5-9, fans onsite can enjoy:  
 
USGA Championship Merchandise Shopping   
 
Fans can commemorate the championship with the purchase of official U.S. Women’s Open gear at three convenient locations: the Merchandise Pavilion near the main entrance, the Official U.S. Women’s Open Shop in the Lodge Retail Arcade or in Fan Central at the Satellite Merchandise Tent. All locations will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 30 minutes after play concludes each day.
 
USGA & Museum Experience  
 
The USGA Experience is designed to give fans an immersive look at the USGA’s efforts to unify, showcase, govern and advance the game. One side of the tent is dedicated to the USGA Golf Museum and Library, complete with golf history exhibits and artifacts celebrating the history of Pebble Beach and the women’s game. The adjoining space has many interactive activities for fans, including a “What Would You Shoot?” experience, in which users can enter their Handicap Index® or average score and learn what their Course Handicap™ would be from the championship tees at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Additionally, there is a Rules of Golf quiz and USGA championship information, complete with an opportunity to hit a golf simulator tee shot onto the famed par-3 No. 7 at Pebble Beach. 

Enhanced On-Site Digital Displays 


Fans can expect an increase in the number of Digital Displays and enhanced programming across the championship grounds. With the addition of ShotLink, there will be additional on-course displays that will be focused on the state of play, leader boards and other advanced data points that showcase the play of the world’s best players. In general areas, such as Fan Central, fans can enjoy the championship broadcast and other programming alongside messaging and scoring updates to ensure they are always a part of the action. At the Practice Range, fans can enjoy a digital display that showcases TopTracer technology as it tracks the shots during each player’s practice routine, bringing a data-rich display and tracing for each shot as the players fine-tune their games.

Junior Experience Featuring LPGA*USGA Girls Golf 
 
Fans ages 17 and under receive complimentary admission any day of the event with a ticketed or credentialed adult. A maximum of four (4) juniors can enter per adult.  
 
Located in Fan Central, the Junior Experience Tent offers activities for kids of all ages, including arts and crafts, chipping and putting, full swing drills and an exercise station. A nine-hole Junior Scavenger Hunt is also available for young fans, and once completed, scorecards can be returned to the merchandise tent for a prize. The Junior Experience will be open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 
 
Juniors can take in the action from dedicated, front-row viewing zones on the 1st and 18th tees and 18th green. Additionally, an Autograph Zone and Selfie Zone located near the practice putting green are designated for juniors to interact with players after they have completed their rounds. 

On-Site Wayfinding Powered by Cisco 
   
Fans can utilize the USGA App – a new all-in-one destination for fans offering features and innovations to bolster wall-to-wall engagement opportunities for the U.S. Women’s Open – on iOS and Android to locate their favorite players, see which group is upcoming on any hole and find grandstands, concessions and other amenities throughout Pebble Beach Golf Links. Turn-by-turn navigation, powered by Cisco, will make it easy for fans to navigate the venue and have a memorable championship experience. 
 
U.S. Women’s Open Trophy Experience Hosted by Lexus 
 
Located on the 18th hole, the Trophy Experience Hosted by Lexus provides fans with the opportunity to take their photo with the U.S. Women’s Open Trophy. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to engage with the first-ever all-electric RZ and the first-ever TX, encompassing a new era of three-row luxury.
