The Championship Golf Course Renovation at Poppy Ridge is scheduled to begin on May 1. In preparation for the renovation, 18 holes are now officially closed, and the 9-hole Composite golf course is officially open. This innovative Composite 9-hole concept will prove to be enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.

The Composite 9 is routed through the southern portion of the property featuring dramatic views of the surrounding vineyards inspiring a sense of serenity and relaxation.

Looks fun right? Play nine or 18 holes. Rounds can be booked through the golf shop or the online booking page, where you will be prompted during the reservation process to select 9 or 18 holes accordingly.

Congratulations to Poppy Ridge Assistant Golf Professional, Nick McClendon, who set the new course record shooting a 31 👍

The nine-hole course has evolved beautifully and will continue to improve as the new features mature. A few of the fairway bunkers and one green-side bunker are in the process of being converted to grassy hollows. These bunkers are roped off and should be played as ‘Ground Under Repair.’ Feel free to retrieve your golf ball, but please do not play from these bunkers while we work towards the conversion to grassy hollows. A new hybrid Bermuda grass has been installed on the 2nd and 7th holes, which boasts many benefits including drought tolerance that will result in less irrigation.

Also returning to operation - the driving range, effective April 22. So come on out and work on that swing! The chipping and putting greens have been reconstructed in first-class fashion and will reopen later this summer. The Grill is open with normal operating hours, which can be found here.
