Spring Creek G&CC rolled to a big win at the NCGA Central Valley Zone Championship.
Spring Creek G&CC, made up of teammates Kyle Huckell, Steve Hayes, Gil Huckell and Jeremy Huckell, posted a final round 14-under 128 at Poppy Hills to finish with a two-day total of 32-under 254 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Tracy G&CC placed second at 271 after a final round 134. Del Rio CC was third at 272 after a final round 139.
Both Spring Creek G&CC and Tracy G&CC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.

Spring Creek G&CC has the lead after opening day of the Central Valley Zone Championship.
Spring Creek G&CC, made up of teammates Kyle Huckell, Steve Hayes, Gil Huckell and Jeremy Huckell, posted a first round score of 18-under 126 Monday at Del Monte GC playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
In second place is Del Rio CC at 133. Tracy G&CC is third at 137.
Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC.
