Greenhorn Creek GC went wire-to-wire to win the annual South Sierra Zone Championship.

The Greenhorn Creek squad, made up of teammates Michael Jeros, Austin Kane, Kelly Robinson and Mike Croshaw, posted a final round score of 12-under 132 Tuesday at Del Monte GC to come in at 27-under 259 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Tahoe Paradise GC came in second at 164 following a final round score of 133. Genoa Lake GC was third at 266.

Greenhorn Creek and Tahoe Paradise each earned automatic berths into this year's Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.

North Sierra Zone 

800-Jul-26-2022-09-58-47-37-PMLakeridge GC rolled to the title at the annual NCGA North Sierra Zone Championship.

The Lakeridge squad, made up of teammates Alan Krogness, Robert Sidorski, Michael Ginocchio and Randy Ramociotti, posted a final round 2-under 142 Tuesday at Del Monte GC to come in at 14-under 272 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Second place went to Weed GC at 279 following a second round 141. McCloud GC was third at 280.

lBoth Lakeridge GC and Weed GC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.

Greenhorn Creek GC grabbed the early lead at the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.

The Greenhorn Creek GC squad, made up of teammates Michael Jeros, Austin Kane, Kelly Robinson and Mike Croshaw, posted an opening round of 15-under 127 Monday at Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team. 

In second place is Wawona GC at 128. Tahoe Paradise GC is alone in third at 131.

Only the two low teams will advance to this year's Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills. Tuesday's second round will see play shift over to par-72 Del Monte GC. 

North Sierra Zone

Lakeridge GC is the team to chase after day one of the annual NCGA North Sierra Zone Championship.

The Lakeridge squad, made up of teammates Alan Krogness, Robert Sidorski, Michael Ginocchio and Randy Ramociotti , carded an opening round score of 12-under 130 Monday at Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Weed GC and McCloud GC are tied for second at 138. Whitehawk Ranch GC is alone in fourth place at 142.

Only the two low teams will advance to this year's Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills. Tuesday's second round will see play shift over to par-72 Del Monte GC.
