Alameda GC came from behind to take the title at the annual NCGA East Bay Zone Championship.
The Alameda GC squad, made up of teammates Frank Gadola, Keith Hart, Gabriel Ang and Geoff de Santis, shot a final round 11-under 131 Tuesday at Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team to come in at 14-under 262.
Fremont Park GC held on to claim second place, carding a final round 134 to come in at 264. They'd edge third place finisher Las Positas GC by a stroke.
Both Alameda GC and Fremont Park GC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.

Fremont Park GC is the team to chase after day one of the annual NCGA East Bay Zone Championship.
The Fremont Park squad, made up of teammates Chris Serrano, Mike Griggs, John Jarvinen and Andy Sanchez, shot a score of 14-under 130 at Del Monte GC playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Metropolitan GC and Alameda GC are tied for second at 131, just one off the lead.
Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 22-23 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.
Tuesday's second round will see play shift over to Poppy Hills GC.
