Thanks to new technology developed by the USGA, there are now more features on the GHIN mobile app than ever.

Along with the app making it simple to keep track of your hole-by-hole scores and stats, don’t forget that the app also now features course maps and GPS. The app features maps of literally thousands of course worldwide, and can even help you read putts.

As per the GPS part, the app will instantly tell you what courses you’ve recently played. And if you’re at a particular course at the moment, you can view downloaded rich, colorful hole maps. And of course it tracks your distances on each hole.

The app provides distances to the center of the green and touchpoint distances to anywhere on the course. It’s like having a caddie in your pocket.

You can know the accurate yardage for your next shot, regardless of your playing ability, which can provide more confidence and a better chance of success.

On the green, the app’s Approach Shot Heat Map and Putt Break Map provides helpful information when you’re trying to read a putt. Each green map includes arrows and color-coding, indicating general direction and speed. The map even rotates in real-time based on where you are standing to make things easier.

The app has other capabilities, too – one cool thing is that you can look up anyone’s Handicap Index. Now you can see how your friends have been playing, especially before taking them on for a round! The GHIN Mobile app presented by Sentry provides a complete experience with a clean look and easy-to-understand guidance.

If you aren’t using it, you may want to check it out! You can get the GHIN Mobile app at Google Play or on the App Store.
