2026 Senior Series
Are you a woman aged50-above or a man age 55-above looking for some events?
If so, the Senior Series is for you.
Played on weekdays, these competitions are flighted by handicap and age. There are prize funds for each flight and an optional skins game.
Many of the events allow you to choose your playing partner(s) and your tee times.
Senior Series events are hosted at some of the finest golf courses across Northern California. There are both individual and team competitions with a wide range of formats, including Individual Net, Four-Ball Net, Stableford and Chicago points, Two-Person Scramble, and optional skins games.
How’s It Work?
Each event features two divisions based on age, the first division will be for golfers age 55-64 (50-64for women), the second division for golfers 65 and over. Players will also be assigned a tee based on their age.
The senior division men(55-64) will play from an approximate yardage of 5800-6200; the super senior division men (65 and older) will play an approximate yardage of 5400-5800; all women will play an approximate yardage of 4700-5400.
Tournaments are generally flighted by Handicap Index to ensure golfers of all abilities will be able to enjoy the competition and have the opportunity to win prizes and merchandise. We use a Handicap Index Review process to promote fair play.
As a bonus, a season-long points system allows golfers (and teams) to earn entry into the season-ending championships.
The Team Championship is set for Nov. 3 at The Club at Castlewood. The Individual Championship is scheduled for Nov. 9 at The Club at Castlewood.

What Members Are Saying
“This was another great, fun and challenging year with the NCGA Senior Series where older golfers still feel competitive. We had the option to play on great courses from Truckee and Napa to Monterey that we only dreamed of being able to play in our day. With the NCGA you can play in both team and individual events where you meet new people and make friends. I look forward to being able to participate next year with my partner Joe Cioni. Together our ages combined make up 164 years and we still enjoy playing together.”--Richard McGrath
“When my friends and I started playing in the Senior Series, we had no idea that we would have so much fun visiting courses that we didn’t even know existed. Among the best of them are those that are nearing or over a century old. Great job in choosing the courses. We’ll be back.”--David Johnson
