The Class of 2025

NorCal amateur greats Jim Knoll and Tom Culligan and 30-plus year Rules officials Lon Haskew and Sally Tomlinson will be honored as the 14th NCGA Hall of Fame class in a ceremony to be held Oct. 14 at Poppy Ridge.

Knoll among other achievements has won 11 NCGA Senior championships and won a still-record five straight NCGA Senior Player of the Year titles. Culligan won an NCGA title over four decades—from 1968 thru 1997—and is a 13-time club champion at Peninsula Golf and Country Club and two-time champ at The Olympic Club, where he’s in the Hall of Fame. They are being recognized for the Player Achievement awards.

Haskew, a former NCGA president and longtime tournament official at state, national and international levels as well as a USGA committee member who also was awarded the prestigious Joe Dey Award from the USGA in 2020 for his meritorious service as a volunteer, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is the first NCGA president to earn the award.

Tomlinson will receive the Distinguished Service Award for her longtime service to the game, including over 30 years volunteering, including USGA committees and CWAC President.

Tom Culligan
