After 54 holes of stoke play and three different days of weather a new California Women’s Champion was crowned.
Kate Villegas (above) won on the first hole of a four-way playoff with a birdie, scoring a three-day total of 4-under 209 at Ojai Valley Inn.
The first day there was a 20 minute fog delay, day two was sunny and warm and day three was pouring down rain to the start day.
Shelly Haywood (below) had a three-day total of 222 to win the California Senior Women’s Championship. This was the 28th California Women’s Championship which has been hosted at Ojai Valley Inn since 2013.
