The annual NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship became a thriller, as Napa GC (Vincent Dass and Dean Whitecotton) and Greenhorn Creek GC (Travis Molzen and Kevin Mead) finished regulation tied at 21-under 121.
In the ensuing sudden-death playoff, Napa GC won with a birdie on the par-5 10th hole.
Third place went to Glenn G&CC (Todd Pyfl and Kent Thayer) at 18-under 124 after a final round 60.
First played in 1968, the NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship is a two-person better-ball event for regular clubs.

Blackhawk GC and Napa GC are the leaders after day one of the annual NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship at Poppy Hills.
Blackhawk GC (Jeff Lind and Sean Cooley) and Napa GC (Dean Whitecotton and Vincent Dass) both shot 11-under 60 on a beautiful Monday in the forest.
In third place is Greenhorn Creek GC at 61.
The shot of the day went to Thomas Sesock, who aced the 140-yard 17th hole using a pitching wedge. It was his first career hole-in-one.
The final round is Tuesday at Poppy Hills.
