Antelope Greens GC got a wire-to-wire win at the East Sacramento Zone Championship.

 

Antelope Greens, comprised of teammates Peter Ames, Devin Grace, Scott Bubany and Jason Herrera, carded a final round 9-under 133 Tuesday at Poppy Hills to come in at 21-under 265 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Second place went to Serrano CC at 267 following a final round 127.

Both Antelope Greens GC and Serrano CC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.

Antelope Greens GC is the team to chase after day one of the East Sacramento Zone Championship.

On Monday, Antelope Greens, comprised of teammates Peter Ames, Devin Grace, Scott Bubany and Jason Herrera, carded an opening round of 12-under 132 at Del Monte GC playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

In second place at 136 is La Contenta GC. Cold Springs G&CC is alone in third place at 138.

Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 24-25 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.

Tuesday's final round will see play shift over to par-71 Poppy Hills.
