NCGAEmerald Lakes GC emerged victorious at the annual NCGA Sacramento Zone Championship.

Emerald Lakes GC, made up of teammates Jesse Dang, Jeremy Stimmler, Emilio Ybarra and Andrew Ybarra, carded a final round 12-under 132 at Del Monte GC to come in with a two-day total of 26-under 260 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Woodbridge G&CC placed second at 262 after a final round 137. Third place went to Davis GC at 264.

Both Emerald Lakes GC and Woodbridge G&CC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.

First Round

Woodbridge Golf and Country Club is leading the 2025 Sacramento Zone Championship after 18 holes at Poppy Hills. 

The format of the tournament takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

The four-man team made up of Patrick Coon, Robby Dobler, Eurik O'Bryant and Cory Burnell were able to post a combined score of 17-under 125.

Emerald Lakes GC is only three shots back as they sit at 14-under 128. Davis GC sits in third place at 13-under 129. 

Defending champion Wildhawk PA currently sits in eighth place at 8-under par for the championship. 

On Tuesday, the final round action will shift down the Monterey Peninsula to Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey. 

The top-two low teams will advance to the 58th NCGA Zone Championship which takes place on Aug. 25th thru 26th at Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Courses.
