For the seventh straight year, the California Players League Championship will be residing in Southern California.
Hacienda Golf Club in La Habra Heights took home the crown at Poppy Hills as they finished with 39 points. Woodbridge G&CC finished in second place at 25 points.
Representing Hacienda Golf Club was Kyle Mendoza, Isaiah Soto, Ryan Tetrault, Justin Itzen, Hisham Hussein, Kyle De Silva and Chris Taylor.
"It is a pretty special and proud moment," Taylor said. "We have always had a great team but could just never get here but we got it done this year."
Finishing in a tie for third place was Whitney Oaks GC of Rocklin and Rancho Park Golf Course of Los Angeles. Both clubs finished with 24 points.
The league is comprised of regular clubs. Events use a format that incorporates Stableford scoring, match play and stroke play.
