South Sierra Zone
Greenhorn Creek GC held on to take the title at the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.
Greenhorn Creek GC, made up of teammates Kelly Robinson, Mike Croshaw, Travis Ziehlke and Michael Jeros, shot a final round 11-under 131 at Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team to come in at 15-under 271.
Second place went to Tahoe City GC at 272 after a final round 134.
Lake Tahoe GC was third, just one stroke behind Tahoe City at 273.
Both Greenhorn Creek GC and Tahoe City GC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.
North Sierra Zone
Lake Shastina GC rolled to a victory at the annual NCGA North Sierra Zone Championship.
Lake Shastina GC, made up of teammates made up of teammates Jason Truttman, Robert West, Denis Hagarty and Jon Ray, posted a final round 12-unbder 130 to come in at 20-under 266 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Lakeridge Men's Club was second at 277 after a final round 138. Arrowhead GC and Lahontan GC tied for third at 286.
Both Lake Shastina GC and Lakeridge Men's Club earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.

Lake Tahoe GC is the team to chase after day one of the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.
On Monday, Lake Tahoe GC, made up of teammates Eric Arnold, James Novara, Gary Mendel and Peter Afonso, took the lead at Del Monte GC with a score of 8-under 136 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Tahoe City GC is alone in second place at 138. Tahoe Paradise GC is in third at 139.
Only the two low teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside.
Tuesday's final round will be held at par-71 Poppy Hills.
North Sierra Zone
