Whitney Oaks GC won the title at what was a tight East Sacramento Zone Championship.
Whitney Oaks, comprised of teammates Bryan Sharp, Chuck Roberts, Chris Shade and Craig Conduff, shot a final round 16-under 126 to win the event with a two-day total of 25-under 261 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Second place became a playoff between three teams--Antelope Greens GC, Rancho Murieta CC and Ridge GC. Rancho Murieta ended up winning the playoff.
Both Whitney Oaks and Rancho Murieta CC advanced to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/.Black Horse GC in Seaside.

Antelope Greens GC and Rancho Murieta CC are tied atop the leaderboard after opening day of this year's NCGA East Sacramento Zone Championship.
The two teams shot 14-under 130 Monday at par-72 Del Monte GC playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Whitney Oaks GC is in third place at 9-under 135.
Only the low two teams will advance to this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/.Black Horse GC in Seaside.
Tuesday's final round will see play shift over to par-71 Poppy Hills Golf Course.
