The NCGA's annual TOCR Day was held Thursday at Poppy Hills in the Del Monte Forest. The day celebrates the NCGA's volunteer corps of Tournament Officials and Course Raters.

Course Rater of the Year – Craig Cornell
This year’s Course Rater of the Year is Craig Cornell, a 15-year veteran of Course Rating and three-year Captain for Area 3. Though living on the Central Coast (Cambria), Cornell performs most of his ratings in the San Joaquin Valley. Cornell has a backyard putting green and once won a national sweepstakes to receive a private golf lesson from Tiger Woods.
