Ridge GC had a big comeback to win the title at the East Sacramento Zone Championship.

Ridge GC, made up of teammates Clete Pfannenstein, Robert Petrie, Dave Boatman and William Maxwell, carded a final round 22-under 120 to come in at 32-under 254 playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Second place went to Antelope Greens GC at 261 following a second round 129.

Whitney Oaks GC was third at 264.

Both Ridge GC and Antelope Greens GC earned automatic spots into this year's NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 19-20 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.

Antelope Greens GC and Whitney Oaks GC grabbed the lead after day one of the NCGA East Sacramento Zone Championship.

Both squads came in with a score of 12-under 132 at Del Monte GC playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.

Ridge GC and Roseville GC are tied for third at 134, just two shots behind the co-leaders.

Only the two low teams will advance to this year's Zone Championship, set for Aug. 19-20 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill. Tuesday's final round will be held at par-71 Poppy Hills.
