There was no denying Lauren Gebauer.
Gebauer, a 39-year-old resident of Orinda, posted rounds of 72-69 to come in at 2-under 141 and win the annual WGANC Legacy Champion of Champions by 14 shots over the field.
The event's first round was held at par-72 Corral de Tierra CC. The second round was held at par-71 Carmel Valley Ranch. Gebauer, the 2023 NCGA Women's Player of the Year, was the only player to shoot par or better each round.
Second place went to NCGA Hall of Famer Lynne Cowan at 155 after a final round 74. Eden Anderson was third at 158.
