Gross Division

Tina Barker and teammate Jennifer Serbin caught fire in beautiful conditions at Poppy Hills, carding rounds of 69-63 to come in at 10-under 132 for the win.

Barker, who was recently inducted into the NCGA Hall of Fame, was coming off a win in the Super Senior division at the California Senior Women's Amateur Championship at Seven Oaks CC. Serbin, a former Symetra Tour player, can drive the ball 280-plus yards routinely.

Second place went to the team of Lauren Gebauer and Catherine Kim at 137 following a final round 65. Third place went to the Sierra View CC tandem of Karen Garcia and NCGA Hall of Famer Lynne Cowan at 142. 

Big Sur Flight

Carol Knight and Joy Robinson shot a final round 69 to come in at 8-under 134, good for a two-shot win over the runner-up team of Donna Basil and Bonnie Bronson. Basil and Bronson had a final round 63 to come in at 136. 

Third place went to the tandem of Juvy Timan and Kelly Simpson at 136 after a final round 70. The card-off between Basil-Bronson and Timan-Simpson was low round of the day. 

Golden Gate Flight

Catherine Smith and Anita Gonzalez won the title, carding a final round 65 to finish at 133.

Second place was a tie between the teams of Rhonda Mohr-Sara Mitchell and Christina Browning-Dana Carrigan at 135 after both teams finished with final rounds of 65 and 70, respectively. Mohr-Mitchell won the ensuing card-off to earn second place. 

Yosemite Flight 

Stephanie Krist and Michelle Criado got going with a final round 61 to come in at 17-under 125 for a 14-shot victory.

Three teams--Karen Medalen-Christine Nenoff, Alice Murrietta-Caroline Hernandez and Vicki Brandt-Lupi Moore--all finished T2 at 139. Medalen and Nenoff (66) and Murrietta-Hernandez (68) won the ensuing card-off to claim second and third place, respectively.
